SYNOPSIS OF THE CASE STUDY
At the age of 84, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed a breathtaking legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But without a definitive Ginsburg biography, the unique personal journey of this diminutive, quiet warrior's rise to the nation's highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now. RBG is a revelatory documentary exploring Ginsburg 's exceptional life and career from Betsy West and Julie Cohen, and co-produced by Storyville Films and CNN Films.
The case study illustrates the professionalism, leadership and legacy of trailblazer feminist Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and helps participants: to gain an understanding of gender wage gap in Canada; the lack of gender diversity within corporate boards in Canada; and the challenges women in leadership roles are facing across public, private and government corporations. The case study focuses on the U.S. context but it is key to mention that following recent studies of Statistics Canada, Canada lags behind the U.S. on putting women in corporate boardrooms.
In sum, the case study echoes the lessons learned from gender discrimination and importance of ETHICS, human rights and EDI for our society.

Read MoreI had not realized the extent of discrimination against women for entry to programs of higher learning and also the degree of inequality in the working world based on gender. I liked how Ruth Bader Ginsburg calmly employed compelling logic to effect many positive changes.
