Garrick Apollon

A practicing corporate lawyer, Garrick is also a documentary filmmaker and a Fellow at Hot Docs for Continuing Professional Education. An active legal scholar, Garrick has published in leading peer-reviewed American law journals in the fields of corporate governance and ethics, negotiation and dispute resolution. Garrick is past-Fellow of the FILM Initiative at Osgoode Hall Law School. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Hennick Centre for Business and Law at York University.

Yves Le Bouthillier

Law Professor and Vice-Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa

A professor at the Faculty of Common Law and Vice-Dean of the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa, Yves Le Bouthillier teaches international law, specifically in the areas of international human rights law, international environmental law, and in related areas such as immigration and refugee law. Active member of the AJEFO -Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.

Dr. Bernard Leduc

President and CEO, Monfort Hospital

Dr. Bernard Leduc took office as president and Chief Executive Officer of Hôpital Montfort, in Ottawa, in January 2010. Montfort is the Francophone Academic Hospital of Ontario. Under his leadership, the hospital received an Accreditation with Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada, in 2014 and again in 2018. This recognition reflects Dr. Leduc’s commitment to continuous quality improvement, with a focus on patient experience and safety. Dr. Leduc has 27 years of experience in the practice of family medicine. He obtained his Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Queen’s University in 2010. In 2017, he received the Order of Ottawa and he was inducted in the FireStarter Hall of Fame by the Studer Group in 2018. Dr. Leduc sits on numerous Boards, including Health Standards Organization. He is also a surveyor for Accreditation Canada.

Sonia Ouellet

Christiane Saad is the Executive director of the Law Practice Program at the University of Ottawa. This program offers Canadian law school graduates (J.D. or equivalent) a new pathway to become a lawyer in Ontario. The purpose of the LPP is to facilitate the transition between law school and legal practice while obtaining the required experiential training. Active member of the AJEFO – Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.

Professor Marc Tassé teaches accounting, forensic accounting and Corporate Governance and Ethics at the MBA program at the University of Ottawa. He’s regarded as a national and international expert in the field of Corporate Governance and Ethics. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant – Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) (Canada), a Forensic Certified Public Accountant (FCPA) (USA), and a Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) (USA). He also carries the designation of Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) (USA), and holds both a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
